I have a lot of interests but I am only going to highlight a few here. My two biggest TV related interests are Doctor Who and Transformers.

Above is the Youtube trailer for the 2011 series of Doctor Who.

A Doctor Who promo picDoctor Who is a British science fiction program which began in 1963 and still is on today. The main character is called the Doctor and he travels through time and space in his TARDIS time machine. He travels with various companions and fights villians. A lot of stories have moral issues (or sometimes political) in them which can make them hit home a little more. The Doctor himself is an alien called a Time Lord and that quality has allowed 11 different actors to play the role.

Transformers logoGrowing up as a kid, I absolutely loved the cartoon Transformers. The story of the Autobots and Decepticons from the planet Cybertron who came to Earth because their home was depleted from centuries of war. These robots were able to transform into everyday objects allowing them to hide in plain sight. I still have a lot of the toys, comics, and now the DVDs of this series from the 1980s.

As far as music goes, I mostly like pop/rock and soundtracks. I love taking the Ipod out to the park or the track and walking. It's a great way to relax and exercise. I've seen Justin Timberlake and New Kids on the Block in concert.

New York City

Travel has never been my thing. Growing up I was always taught to believe in Murphy's Law when it came to travelling: something bad will happen if you leave home. As an adult I have slowly gotten past that upbringing and I have discovered New York City. I have been there three times and I love it. It is a mix of styles in every way - artistic, cultural, architectural, etc. I hope to go back for a fourth time soon as well as visit Washington D.C.
